Google Doodle
This was a short project where we got to do whatever we wanted to. I decided to do a Google Doodle (which is one of those various designs that Google uses on the Google homepage) mimicking the style of the graphic designer William Bryant. Below is the final result as well as my original sketch.
S-Tier Indies Magazine
Gist: Create a fictional, themed, interview-based magazine starring 2 artists. The theme I chose was video games, and the "2" people I chose were Jared & Chad Moldenhauer (the twins who founded Studio MDHR, which developed Cuphead) and William Pellen (a co-founder of Team Cherry, which developed Hollow Knight). This project made use of Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Playground Type Badges
Gist: Choose a theme and create 28—32 typographic badges. The main purpose was to improve our sense of type hierarchy and stretch our creativity by choosing a theme that deviates from our usual design style. I chose to go with "playground" because I usually don't use bubbly lettering or illustrative things in my graphic design work. I think everyone agrees that this was one of the hardest design projects. This project was made in Illustrator.
Break Check
Gist: This project involves the design and execution of a core identity program for a business on wheels. My idea was "Break Check", a mobile break room—the brand guide compiling all the different components of the project is below. Overall, I made use of Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
